‘Moodle Matters’ event

Webanywhere's Moodle Matters event

We’d like to thank everyone who braved the cold and icy conditions to attend our ‘Moodle Matters’ event at the The Rose Bowl, Leeds on Tuesday 15th January. We’d also like to thank our speakers, who all did a great job.

The event covered a range of Moodle topics including ‘Making Moodle easy’ and SIMS Integration. We also had a great talk from Brian Smith, a former Assistant Head at Parkside school who has had first hand experience implementing Moodle and making it a success. He spoke about how important staff engagement was to making your Moodle a success and discussed the implementation plan that he used to get the most out of his Moodle.

Due to the success of the event, we are going to be holding free Moodle events within the West Yorkshire area every 6 weeks. However, in order for us to make sure that we’re discussing topics that you would like to hear about, we’ve created a survey which we would like you to complete. This survey will enable us to tailor our Moodle event to you and your requirements.
