Moodle for Primary Schools in London

St Helen's College is an independent 3-11 college catering for boys and girls. The school make use of Moodle to provide pupils with access to a wide range of resources that support their learning. They have also enabled access for parents, meaning that all documentation and relevant information is accessible via the secure parental log in.

Moodle in London Secondary Schools / FE

Bacon's College is a secondary academy school with 1046 pupils in Rotherhithe. Bacon's College have opted to choose a bespoke design for their Moodle, which has been integrated with CMIS and the college e-mail system. Pupils, staff and parents are given access to the full range of the college's resources via the Moodle VLE. Teachers, for example, are given access to documentation relevant to their position within the college.

Kingsbury High School uses Moodle to facilitate online learning for its 2023 pupils. The school make innovative use of video via their virtual learning environment through use of the Kaltura plug in, and provide effective feedback to pupils through use of the Red Pen Tool. Combined with pupil use of the Mahara e-portfolio and integration of the school's MIS, the Moodle package provides a highly flexible resource that helps to ensure effective management of the large school population.

Hayes School is an 11-18 academy and sixth form college, situated in Bromley. The school has been using an on-site Moodle with SIMS integration for just over a year. They are particularly pleased with the way in which SIMS can be integrated into Moodle and make regular use of Webanywhere's Moodle training events.

Tolworth Girls School have 1326 pupils on roll. They use Moodle to provide their pupils with online resources and have also developed a large number of courses to support their centre for continued education.

Dulwich College Preparatory School caters for 808 boys aged between 2 and 14. The school makes use of Moodle 2.0 and Student Jotter to provide the boys with a varied and interactive curriculum at primary and secondary level.

Nightingale Academy have chosen to make use of Moodle and SIMS integration as their means of delivering high quality online resources to their 1115 pupils. Nightingale Academy have a bespoke Moodle theme that reflects their ethos. They have developed a large number of courses for their learning platform.
